Frequently Asked Questions

Please text us @ 682.259.0090 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

SMP stands for Scalp Micropigmentation, a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that uses micro-needles to deposit pigment into the scalp. The result creates the appearance of tiny hair follicles or short hair stubble, giving the illusion of a fuller head of hair.

A: SMP is ideal for men and women dealing with:

  • Hair thinning or bald spots
  • Receding hairlines
  • Alopecia
  • Scarring from hair transplants or injuries

A: Pain is minimal. Most clients describe it as a light scratching or tingling feeling. It’s much less painful than getting a tattoo.

A: After each session, mild redness may occur for 1–2 days. You’ll need to avoid heavy sweating, direct sunlight, and washing the scalp for a few days. The pigment gradually settles over the following week.
